Ellie draws on her practitioner insight as a former police officer and her analytical expertise from working in central government subsequently. Using her Whitehall experience of policy and strategy, Ellie also develops pan-sector justice performance frameworks.
Ellie has worked with children at risk of involvement in gang violence for the charity Barnardo’s and developed policy for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
Passionate about police reform, Ellie wants to use her experiences, combined with a sound evidence base and analysis, to drive positive change in the criminal justice system.
