As our Research Lead, Violette works on our independent programme of research, which aims to shine light on key policy issues in crime and justice. Violette’s research interests include the victim / offender overlap, violence targeted at vulnerable groups, as well as supporting those who come in contact with the criminal justice system.
Before joining Crest, Violette worked at the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), across both the Home Affairs team in the UK and the newly established French office. During her time at BIT, she delivered research looking at the drivers of homicide, improving support for victims of domestic abuse, criminal and sexual exploitation of young people, and online fraud.
Violette has a BSc in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics.
