The Strategy and Insight Manager plays a key role in the management of the team, line managing staff, leading research projects and producing fresh, cutting-edge policy insight across Crest’s Strategy and Insight work.
Main purpose and scope
Manage Strategy and Insight projects, including carrying out and shaping high quality analysis on behalf of clients.
Support members of the Strategy and Insight team to develop their skills and experience.
Support the Head of Strategy and Insight to develop Crest products for new and existing clients.
Work to ensure that Crest is seen as an organisation with the highest standards of analytical rigour and policy insight including contributing to new methodologies and approaches to research design.
Build partnership and alliances with academics, think tanks and other like-minded organisations.

Responsible for: Managing and delivering Strategy and Insight projects across the organisation
Duties and key responsibilities
Manage projects in the delivery of strategy and insight products, which achieve impact and enhance Crest’s reputation for excellence and are delivered to time and budget.
Line management of staff in the Strategy and Insight Team.
Quality assure analysis produced for clients and/ or as part of wider thought leadership efforts.
Conduct high quality analysis in the service of projects and for wider thought leadership efforts.
Develop proposals for new work, including budgets.
Support the Head of Strategy and Insight in managing client programmes, ensuring proper systems of governance/ oversight are in place.
Establishing and maintaining systems for overseeing the effective delivery of Crest client work.
Presenting and communicating Crest work to wider audiences

A competitive salary will be paid depending upon skills and experience, ranging between £40,000 and £55,000 (pro-rata).
