Recently, demand for Crest’s services has grown and we are now seeking to recruit a new Head of Strategy and Insight to work directly with our Chief Executive.
We are looking for a positive, collaborative person, able to work as part of a team and adhere to Crest’s values (collaborative, challenging, credible and courageous).
In-depth understanding of crime, policing and criminal justice policy (including wider political context).
Excellent written skills, with experience of drafting for an external audience (for example White Papers, government reviews, police and crime plans, think tank reports etc.).
Quantitative and qualitative analysis, including an ability to work with performance data.
Outstanding communication skills, including experience of presenting to senior decision-makers and building/ maintaining relationships.
The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Working within a close-knit team, including the ability to manage, steer and lead more junior members of staff.

Responsible for: Strategy and Insight Team
A competitive salary will be paid depending upon skills and experience, ranging between £55,000 and £65,000 (pro-rata).
Hours and place of work
As Head of Strategy and Insight you would usually work from our London office, 40 hours per week full-time; a part-time arrangement can be considered. In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic you are likely to work from home at least some of the time. This will be reviewed as government guidance changes. Occasional travel to client sites is also a requirement of the role, but again this will depend on government guidance.
