REPORT (PDF): Where did it all go wrong? A study into the use of community sentences in England and Wales

Last week we launched our latest research report “Community sentences: where did it all go wrong?” at an event in the House of Lords.

Hosted by Lord Falconer of Thoroton, former Lord Chancellor and first Secretary of State for Justice, we set out the findings from our study and were delighted to be joined in the discussion by representatives from the Magistrates’ Association, community rehabilitation companies and others. The report was authored by Sophie du Mont and Harvey Redgrave and the research was funded by the Hadley Trust.
