Miriam specialises in communications around policing and social welfare issues such as institutional racism and child protection. Miriam previously worked for the Metropolitan Police and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre and now advises inquiries and educational bodies.


A specialist media and public affairs consultant, Miriam has extensive experience of communicating criminal justice and social welfare issues. Miriam is skilled at developing and implementing media and communications strategies for a wide range of organisations including charities, public inquiries and educational institutions.


Decisive and respected across every sector she has worked in, Miriam inspires confidence through clear, swift and robust advice and to help clients get their messages across and win over key audiences. A mother of two, Miriam is used to balancing competing needs and responding calmly under pressure.

Key achievements

  • Managed media for Opening Statement by the Chair of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and subsequent Commemoration Hearings.

  • Managed media for Opening Statement of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (July 2015).

  • Worked closely with MPS Independent Advisory Group on the findings of the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry and the MPS response to them.

  • Handled press and broadcast during 1999 Paddington Rail Disaster, 2005 London bombings and 2007 disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
