Anthony Broxton

Projects and Engagements Officer


Anthony is responsible for stakeholder engagement with our clients, providing support across a
range of policy and research areas. Anthony recently completed an MA in Politics and
Contemporary History at Kings College were he was awarded First Class honours.

Prior to joining Crest, Anthony worked as a social worker in Southwark, supporting vulnerable
people as they left the care system. He worked with multiple agencies to reduce the impact of
social inequality and crime before moving into a policy focussed role.

Since completing his MA, Anthony has worked as a freelance journalist and historian covering a
range of subjects. With a special interest in British politics, he writes regularly for publications
such as The Times, The I, Prospect and The Critic magazine.

Anthony recently contributed as a researcher to the NHS at 70 history project, to record oral
testimonies of staff for preservation at the British Library.

He is a keen rugby league historian and writes regularly on the issues that arise in the game.
